Senior Manufacturing Director

Lyten Sweden is seeking a Senior Director of Manufacturing to oversee all aspects of our manufacturing operations. In this strategic leadership role, you will ensure that processes are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with customer and stakeholder needs. You will lead the planning, development, and implementation of manufacturing methods for new and existing products, fostering a culture of Safety and Quality First while optimizing resources and driving continuous improvement.

Job Scope: You will be responsible for shaping manufacturing strategies, managing budgets, and ensuring operational excellence across all production activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Establish a Safety and Quality First culture within the manufacturing team.

Prepare and manage annual budgets, capital expenditure plans, and cost control initiatives.

Develop and implement long-term manufacturing strategies aligned with company goals.

Maintain strong relationships with senior leadership, unions, customers, and suppliers.

Collaborate effectively with sales, marketing, finance, and other departments.

Recruit, train, and develop a world-class manufacturing team.

Define and monitor KPIs to measure performance and drive efficiency.

Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices to optimize workflows and resource utilization.
