Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer for an assignment in a modern digital environment focused on scalable services, integrations, and operational excellence. You will work hands-on with microservices, APIs, observability, and ITSM-related processes, contributing to both development and market rollout activities.

• Design and build microservices and orchestration services
• Develop and maintain synchronous REST APIs and asynchronous integrations
• Perform code reviews and contribute to high-quality engineering practices
• Work with authentication and authorization based on OAuth
• Improve observability through logs, metrics, and traces
• Tune performance across services and integrations
• Support rollout activities and operational needs

• Strong experience in Java and Spring Boot
• Hands-on expertise in building orchestration services
• Practical experience implementing OAuth-based authentication and authorization
• Proven experience developing synchronous APIs using REST
• Proven experience with asynchronous integrations such as Solace, Kafka, JMS, or similar
• Solid understanding of observability, including logs, metrics, traces, and tools such as ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry
• Good working knowledge of SQL, including schema design, data modelling, and query optimization
• Strong unit testing skills, for example JUnit and Mockito
• Familiarity with microservices best practices, CI/CD, testing, and performance tuning
• Strong working experience in ServiceNow and ITSM
• Ability to support market rollouts

• Strong hands-on ITSM experience in rollout and operations
• Previous experience working in an online service environment
