Assignment Overview

We are looking for an Application Database Specialist

What you will work on

• Manage and maintain PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Oracle databases (cloud and on-prem)
• Perform daily operations, tuning, capacity planning, and consolidation
• Support development teams with SQL development and runtime database activities
• Participate in solution discussions with projects and guide them toward optimal database solutions
• Collaborate with Domain Architects to design and implement new solutions
• Handle traditional DBA tasks while contributing to platform improvements
• Improve automation, quality, stability, and security of database environments
• Support DevSecOps practices across the database lifecycle
• Participate in on-call support activities

What you bring

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience managing PostgreSQL and MongoDB in production (mandatory)
• Strong experience with AWS and cloud-based database environments (mandatory)
• Advanced SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases
• Strong knowledge of MongoDB (critical requirement)
• Ability to work independently and drive tasks proactively
• Experience implementing changes in large-scale database environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
