Senior Test Manager

You will join an assignment in the consumer finance domain with a clear focus on improving quality assurance, testing effectiveness, and automation maturity. The role centers on analyzing the current testing and development setup, identifying improvement areas, and defining a practical roadmap for stronger quality outcomes across the service domain.

This is a strategic and hands-on role for someone who can assess current ways of working, align cross-team QA efforts, and recommend improvements in tooling, methodology, and test coverage.

• Analyze current testing processes and recommend improvements in methodology, tools, and strategy.
• Review development processes and suggest improvements that strengthen quality and efficiency.
• Assess QA maturity and create a detailed improvement plan covering manual, automation, and non-functional testing.
• Evaluate the use of testing tools and frameworks such as qTest, BrowserStack, Playwright with TypeScript, and JMeter.
• Analyze automation overlap across unit, manual, API, UI, and regression testing, and report current coverage.
• Develop a plan to maximize automation across testing levels while reducing unnecessary overlap.
• Identify defect leakage patterns and create a plan to reduce them.
• Review current automation frameworks and recommend improvements for tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or Cucumber.
• Propose QA metrics that support higher productivity and improved quality.
• Identify relevant AI use cases within QA and development.
• Drive and support cross-team QA activities.

• 15+ years of experience in Quality Assurance area.
• Ability to drive and support cross-team QA activities.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge and experience in solutions supporting test automation, including Maven, Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Rest-Assured, Postman, and Chrome DevTools.
• Hands-on experience using Git, Playwright, Java Selenium, and Cypress.
• Experience in non-functional testing, especially performance testing using tools like JMeter.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.

• Hands-on manual testing experience.
