Assignment Description

We are looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Manager (SQM) to support a client within the defense industry during a period of continued growth.

What You Will Work On

• Ensure implementation of procurement strategies, policies, and quality procedures
• Secure quality of purchased materials, components, and subsystems
• Participate in and establish procurement and inspection plans
• Conduct supplier and product audits at supplier sites
• Monitor supplier performance and drive corrective actions where needed
• Lead supplier improvement initiatives and development programs
• Manage supplier claims and review corrective action responses
• Handle non-conformities identified in production in collaboration with quality teams
• Work closely with production and quality departments to ensure compliance

What You Bring

• Experience in supplier quality, supplier development, or production quality
• Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., LEAN, Six Sigma, PPAP, MSA)
• Ability to read technical drawings and understand GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
• Experience with measurement techniques and quality control processes
• Relevant academic degree (engineering or similar) or equivalent work experience
• Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written)
• Ability to work collaboratively in team environments
• Willingness to travel regularly within Sweden and Europe
