We are seeking an experienced HVDC System Engineer to support the design, analysis, and implementation of High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) transmission systems for large-scale power transmission, renewable energy, and grid infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will play a key role in system studies, grid integration, converter station design support, and technical coordination across multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Perform HVDC system studies and technical analyses
  • Support the design and development of HVDC transmission systems
  • Participate in converter station design and engineering activities
  • Conduct power system and grid integration studies
  • Analyze system performance, stability, and network interactions
  • Support technical coordination between engineering disciplines and project stakeholders
  • Review technical specifications, calculations, and engineering documentation
  • Collaborate with transmission operators, utilities, contractors, and project teams
  • Support project execution from concept design through commissioning and handover
  • Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and client requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Experience working with HVDC transmission systems or large-scale power system projects
  • Strong understanding of power systems engineering and electrical network analysis
  • Experience with system studies, load flow analysis, and grid integration assessments
  • Knowledge of converter station technologies and HVDC principles
  • Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken

  • Commissioning and energization activities
