Powertrain Software Responsible

You will step into a key role in an advanced automotive environment focused on next-generation powertrain control. The work spans hybrid engine control systems and fully electric powertrains, including ECUs, electrical drive units and inverters. In this role, you connect customer requirements, supplier collaboration and technical delivery, helping turn complex needs into robust software solutions.

You will work in a high-performing in-house team with skilled software and hardware engineers, close to both architecture and project leadership. This role suits you if you enjoy combining technical depth with coordination across interfaces and want to influence solutions in a field where software is central to the future of mobility.

• You will act as component owner for the software in your project and drive deliveries toward both supplier and customer.
• You will lead and coordinate Base Software development for ECUs or inverters through different phases of the project.
• You will turn customer requirements into efficient technical solutions together with suppliers and internal engineering teams.
• You will work closely with software engineers, hardware engineers, the Group Project Leader and Basetech Architects.
• You will be the main point of contact toward the supplier for the product you are responsible for.
• You will secure technology, cost and timing in line with project targets.
• You will distribute requirements to function owners and plan implementation according to specification.
• You will contribute to both technical progress and the continued development of ways of working within the team.

• You have an M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or similar relevant experience.
• You have experience in Base Software development for one or more of these product areas: ECM, inverters, TCM, or similar.
• You have strong technical understanding and can work from requirements through planning and implementation.
• You are comfortable leading deliverables in a cross-functional setup with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• You communicate fluently in English, both spoken and written.

• Knowledge of AUTOSAR.
• Experience of application software and integration.
• Swedish language skills for effective day-to-day collaboration.
