Senior Design Engineer

You will take a key role in product development projects and special engineering assignments in an international environment focused on advanced machines and equipment. The work spans early concept development through design maturity and industrialization, with a strong focus on structured technical progress, sound design decisions, and high engineering quality.

You will work closely with engineering colleagues across a global organization and help move ideas from concept to manufacturable solutions. This is a strong opportunity if you enjoy combining technical depth, leadership, and hands-on product testing in a complex development setting.

• You will drive concept development and help define technical direction in product development projects and special assignments.
• You will create and develop advanced CAD models and drawings in Catia V5.
• You will secure a structured engineering process from early design work through development for industrialization.
• You will work with machine engineering challenges, including rotating parts, mechatronics, and form-bound components.
• You will lead and coordinate engineering work to deliver agreed scope on time.
• You will collaborate closely with international engineering teams and stakeholders across the organization.
• You will take an active part in workshops, assembly, and testing to validate designs and improve the product.

• MSc or BSc in Engineering.
• More than 5 years of relevant experience, including minimum 4 years of experience with Catia V5.
• Senior experience in machine engineering, including areas such as rotating parts and mechatronics.
• Senior experience in concept design.
• Experience leading teams to deliver agreed content on time.
• Experience working with structured engineering processes such as concept development, iterative design, platform and module engineering, 6sigma, and value engineering.
• Experience from lean and agile product development.
• Experience with injection moulded parts and other form-bound parts.
