Event Service - Extra - Sheraton Stockholm Hotel

Aligned with our innovative owners, Archer Hotel Management and Marriott International, we merge rich cultural history with modern luxury and a deep dedication to sustainability.     We are now seeking service-oriented Event Associates to join our Food & Beverage team and be part of creating exceptional experiences at our larger dinners and other events. This is an extra position, with only a few shifts depending on our event schedule, mainly for big dinners during evenings. If you enjoy a lively atmosphere, working with a great team, and being part of exciting events, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. For this role, we are looking for someone with previous experience in restaurant or waiting service who enjoys working in a fast-paced event environment. You are reliable, service-minded, and comfortable working as part of a team. A positive attitude, willingness to help, and the ability to work well with others are just as important as your experience. You take pride in providing friendly, attentive service and enjoy being part of a great team during busy and exciting events.    Main responsibilities:

• Provide friendly and professional service during dinners and events.
• Prepare and set up the event space before service.
• Work closely with the team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Stay attentive to guests and respond to their needs throughout the event.
• Help with clearing, resetting, and closing down after the event.
• Maintain our standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and service.  

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in restaurant, waiting, or event service is required.
• Able to fluently communicate verbally in English. Fluency in Swedish is a plus.
• Positive attitude and genuine passion for providing excellent guest service.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Comfortable with physical work, including lifting and moving items.
