Assignment Description

We are looking for an experienced CI Infrastructure Engineer

What You Will Work On

  • Develop and scale Buildkite CI infrastructure
  • Manage self-hosted Buildkite agents across Linux, macOS and Windows
  • Build and maintain Buildkite pipelines, templates and shared libraries
  • Automate agent provisioning, scaling and lifecycle management
  • Develop and maintain Buildkite plugins and hooks
  • Scale CI infrastructure for large monorepos
  • Optimize pipeline splitting and artifact management
  • Work with Kubernetes and Terraform
  • Deploy and implement solutions in GCP, AWS and/or Azure
  • Develop automation using Java, Python and scripting
  • Provision and manage macOS CI agents
  • Improve CI/CD processes and developer experience
  • Support migration of internal teams to modern CI capabilities
  • Collaborate with platform and engineering teams
  • Apply software engineering best practices including testing and continuous delivery

What You Bring

  • 4+ years of experience building and implementing large-scale systems
  • Strong experience with Linux, macOS and Windows
  • Strong understanding of HTTP and networking
  • Professional experience with Java
  • Experience with Buildkite including agents, pipelines, plugins or hooks
  • Experience with Docker
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Terraform
  • Experience deploying solutions in GCP, AWS and/or Azure
  • Strong focus on automation and standardization
  • Experience with CI/CD
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and continuously improve solutions
