Graphic Designer – Green Technology & Project Communication, Göteborg

About the position

ECOBARGE Group AB is looking for a creative and organised Graphic Designer to support our company and our green technology projects.

The position focuses mainly on graphic design and visual communication. You will create visual materials for company activities, projects, presentations, website, LinkedIn, social media and other communication.

You will work together with management and project teams and use information provided by the company to create clear and easy-to-understand visual materials.

Main responsibilities

Graphic Design & Visual Content

• Create graphics, presentations, brochures, posters and other company materials.
• Create simple diagrams, charts, illustrations and infographics.
• Prepare visual materials for green technology and sustainability projects.
• Edit, resize and organise images and other visual content.
• Maintain the company’s visual style and branding.

Project & Business Materials

• Prepare visual materials for ongoing company and project activities.
• Turn project information, numbers and other information into simple visual presentations.
• Create charts and graphical summaries of project information.
• Prepare presentations and documents for management and project meetings.
• Help organise project information and prepare it for visual communication.

Green Technology Communication

• Create visual content relating to thermolysis, pyrolysis, recycling, biomass and other green technology projects.
• Prepare simple process diagrams and visual explanations.
• Create graphics showing materials, products, quantities, processes and project information.
• Work with information provided by the project team to create clear visual content.

Website & Social Media

• Create graphics for the company website.
• Prepare LinkedIn and social media posts and visual content.
• Update images, banners, presentations and other digital materials.
• Adapt designs for different digital platforms.

Company & Project Support

• Work directly with management and project teams.
• Support management with presentations and visual materials.
• Maintain design files, templates, images and company materials.
• Help organise design-related documents, visual assets and project materials.
• Coordinate design requests, changes and deadlines.
• Provide design and visual communication support for company and project materials.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who has practical experience in graphic design and visual communication.

You should be able to work independently on normal graphic-design tasks and communicate with management and project teams about design requirements.

We are looking for someone with:

• Practical experience in graphic design and visual communication.
• Experience creating presentations, graphics, brochures, posters, diagrams and visual materials.
• Good understanding of layout, typography, colours, images and visual presentation.
• Experience creating charts, diagrams and infographics.
• Experience preparing visual content for websites and social media.
• High level experience working with Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated experience working with Microsoft Excel, including developing and maintaining quantitative calculation models.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Support general financial administration, preliminary bookkeeping, invoice verification, cost tracking and project budget follow-ups.
• Maintain and organize project information through SharePoint and other digital systems, and assist with maintaining the company's website and LinkedIn presence.
• Ability to manage design requests, changes and agreed deadlines.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Experience and interest in green technology, circular economy, thermolysis/pyrolysis processes and their products and by-products is required.
• High understanding of mathematical calculations and graphs related to green technology and sustainability projects inorder to visualize the data.

About the work

The main focus of this position is graphic design and visual communication.

The Employee will use company, project, technical and business information as source material and turn it into presentations, graphics, diagrams, infographics, website content, social-media content and other visual materials.

Workplace

The position is based at:

Göteborg, Sweden

The position is primarily on-site at the company’s workplace in Göteborg. Regular remote or hybrid work is not part of the position.
