Quality & Logistics supports the successful delivery of Custom Engineering products by ensuring compliance, documentation quality, product quality, and efficient logistics operations. Our team works closely with project teams, suppliers, manufacturing, and customers to deliver high-quality products and complete documentation packages on time.

This is a one-year consulting assignment at the client in Uppsala.

The Quality & Logistics team is a diverse group of professionals with expertise in documentation, quality, inspection, logistics, and warehouse operations. Team members bring a mix of experience levels, ranging from early-career professionals to highly experienced specialists with deep product and industry knowledge. The team is collaborative, supportive, and service-minded, with a strong focus on helping projects succeed while ensuring compliance, quality, and customer satisfaction. People in the team have different strengths and personalities. Some are highly detail-oriented and analytical, while others excel at coordination, communication, and stakeholder management. The work requires close collaboration across functions, including Project Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Suppliers, and Customers, so strong teamwork and adaptability are important. About the assignment:

As a Documentation Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring that complete, accurate, and compliant documentation is delivered throughout the project lifecycle. You will work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Quality, Suppliers, and Customers to collect, review, compile, and distribute project documentation. Core responsibilities include managing Hardware Product Documentation (HWPD), coordinating document transmittals to customers, reviewing supplier documentation, and supporting documentation activities during project milestones such as FAT, release, shipment, and project closure. A significant part of the role involves reviewing and verifying documentation packages, including material certificates, surface finish measurements, welding documentation, operating instructions, component manuals, and other compliance-related records. The Documentation Specialist ensures that documentation is complete, traceable, and meets customer, industry, and regulatory requirements. The role also includes driving communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve documentation gaps, maintaining documentation status throughout projects, and identifying opportunities to improve documentation processes and digital ways of working. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, planning and organizational skills, effective communication, and a continuous improvement mindset.

About you:

Understanding and experience from Good Documentation Practices. Good knowledge in English and Swedish, written and spoken. Excellent administrative and planning skills. Good communication skills and team working skills Experienced in using and learning new IT systems and digital tools.
