Job Overview

Assignment Description

We are looking for a highly experienced Cloud Engineer

What You Will Work On

  • Design, deliver, and operate secure, enterprise-scale AWS environments.
  • Analyse technical issues, identify root causes, and implement long-term solutions.
  • Improve infrastructure, automation, tooling, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Implement governance, security guardrails, user and group management, and golden AMIs.
  • Develop and maintain cloud automation using Python, Bash, and TypeScript.
  • Build and manage serverless solutions using AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and EventBridge.
  • Manage infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation and CDK.
  • Support developers in delivering secure and efficient cloud solutions.
  • Collaborate with the team to improve cloud platform services continuously.

What You Bring

  • At least 10 years of experience designing and implementing AWS infrastructure.
  • Strong development skills in Python, Bash, and TypeScript.
  • Solid experience with AWS serverless technologies, including Lambda, DynamoDB, and EventBridge.
  • Proficiency in AWS CloudFormation and CDK.
  • Deep understanding of IAM, SSO, identity management, and governance.
  • Experience managing large AWS Organizations, including Control Tower, StackSets, and SCPs.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud automation.
  • A proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and a collaborative approach.

Meritorious

  • AWS certifications.
  • Experience with AI-enhanced software development tools and methods.
  • Experience with micro-component cloud solution architectures.
  • Familiarity with Agile ways of working and tools such as Jira, Kanban, or SAFe.
  • Personal development projects related to cloud engineering.
