Software Engineer (C# / .NET)
About the role
We are looking for a Software Engineer with strong C# expertise who thrives on taking solutions all the way from design through implementation, testing, support and acceptance testing. You are enthusiastic, supportive of your teammates and value both people and shared team results.
The work centers on communication interfaces between vehicles and tools, including remote operation. The products cover the full lifecycle, from development and testing through manufacturing and workshops to remote use.
You will become part of a skilled, committed and self-organizing Scrum team that works according to agile principles. Everyone is expected to contribute across the team's activities, while also having room to specialize in areas that interest them. Close dialogue with stakeholders makes it possible to find common, reusable solutions that help customers succeed.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and test software solutions in C#
- Provide support and take part in acceptance testing
- Develop communication interfaces between vehicles and tools, including remote functionality
- Contribute across the team's activities and collaborate directly with stakeholders to identify reusable solutions
Required skills and experience
- Development experience across Android, iOS, Xamarin and MAUI
- Practical experience working with Scrum and agile methods
- Experience with MS Visual Studio, Git and DevOps
- At least five years of software development in C# and .NET Core, with excellent development skills
- Experience in multithreaded programming
Meritorious
- Experience designing and implementing communication protocols
- Familiarity with diagnostic communication protocols such as ISO 14229 and SAE J1587
- Experience developing .NET applications in cloud environments using Azure and/or AWS
